Anti-KIFC3 Antibody

KIFC3 is a C-terminal kinesin motor of the kinesin-14 subfamily that walks toward microtubule minus ends, originally identified in renal epithelial cells where it ferries annexin XIIIb-bearing vesicles toward the apical plasma membrane. Beyond polarized vesicle trafficking, KIFC3 contributes to cytokinesis through midbody localization, supports microtubule stability via interaction with Sirt2 and acetylated tubulin, and participates in oocyte meiotic spindle assembly and chromosome alignment. The protein is also enriched in testis, with documented roles in spermatid manchette dynamics and germ-cell transport across the seminiferous epithelium.
