Anti-KIF1B Antibody

Raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as 50 µL of unconjugated polyclonal IgG, this anti-KIF1B reagent targets a kinesin-3 family motor protein that powers anterograde transport of mitochondria and synaptic vesicle precursors along neuronal microtubules. Loss-of-function mutations in KIF1B cause Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 2A1 and predispose carriers to neuroblastoma and other neural crest tumors, making the antibody a useful marker for studies of mitochondrial trafficking, peripheral-nerve degeneration, and tumor-suppressor signaling in neuroscience and cancer-biology laboratories.

The antibody is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat tissue. Aliquot upon arrival and store at -20 °C; limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve activity. For research use only.
