The Ki-67 nuclear antigen, encoded by the MKI67 gene on human chromosome 10, is a canonical proliferation marker expressed throughout the active phases of the cell cycle (G1, S, G2, and mitosis) and absent from quiescent G0 populations. Anti-Ki-67 Antibody from Antibodies.com is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal reagent supplied as 50 µL in a buffered formulation of TBS at pH 7.4, with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative.

This unconjugated primary antibody binds the human Ki-67 target and is validated for western blot, immunocytochemistry and immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, and flow cytometry workflows. It supports assessment of tumour growth fractions, grading of neuroendocrine neoplasms, evaluation of breast carcinoma proliferative indices, and broader cell-cycle kinetics studies in basic research models.

The glycerol-containing buffer resists freezing at -20 °C, supporting repeated freeze-thaw cycles across experiments, while refrigerated storage at 4 °C is appropriate for routine short-term use. Each vial should be handled with standard laboratory precautions appropriate for azide-containing buffers and is intended for research use only.
