Anti-Keratin 8 (Ab-74) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody for research use, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets Keratin 8 (CK8) at an epitope surrounding residues 72–76 (L-L-S-P-L) of the human protein. Supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume, it is unconjugated and formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The antibody detects the endogenous level of total Keratin 8 and has been validated for Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF). It shows reactivity against human samples and is purified by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific peptide following immunization of rabbits with the synthetic KLH-conjugated immunogen.
