Anti-Keratin 19 Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against the cytoskeletal intermediate filament protein Keratin 19 and is intended for research use only. The antibody recognizes an epitope within the peptide sequence surrounding residues 392–396 (N-N-L-S-A) of human Keratin 19, allowing detection of the endogenous target in human, mouse, and rat sample types. It is unconjugated and formulated at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. The 50 µL size is validated for Western blotting at a working dilution of 1:500–1:000 and for immunohistochemistry, with a predicted molecular weight of approximately 41 kDa. Antibodies were generated by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide coupled to KLH and purified by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific peptide, ensuring high specificity for total Keratin 19.
