Description

This unconjugated rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody supports western blot analysis of human KDR when tyrosine 1214 is phosphorylated. KDR, also called VEGFR-2, is a receptor tyrosine kinase involved in VEGF signaling, making the reagent useful for studies of ligand-induced receptor activation and endothelial cell signaling.

The specified species reactivity is human. In practice, the antibody can be used to compare KDR phosphorylation in treated and untreated human cell lysates, with total-protein loading and phospho-protein controls supporting interpretation. The unconjugated format allows detection with a compatible secondary antibody selected for the laboratory’s western blot detection chemistry.

The reagent has rabbit host species, polyclonal clonality, an IgG isotype, and no fluorophore or enzyme label. It is supplied by Antibodies.com in a 50 µl pack and should be used according to the laboratory’s validated western blot protocol.
