The KDR protein, also known as VEGFR-2 or FLK-1, is a type III receptor tyrosine kinase that acts as the principal signaling receptor for vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). It drives endothelial cell proliferation, migration, and vascular permeability during angiogenesis, making it a target of interest in vascular biology and oncology research.
This polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and specifically reacts with rat KDR. It is validated for western blot detection of endogenous receptor expression in rat-derived samples and tissue lysates. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 200 µl, providing flexibility for pairing with secondary detection reagents and custom labeling protocols.
