KDM1A, also known as LSD1 or AOF2, is a flavin-dependent histone demethylase that targets mono- and di-methylated histone H3 lysine residues (H3K4me1/2 and H3K9me1/2), and it functions as a central chromatin-modifying enzyme in transcription regulation, embryonic development, and stem cell biology. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against KDM1A and is supplied in a 100 µl vial of liquid antiserum suitable for western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, and chromatin immunoprecipitation workflows. For research use only.

The polyclonal host format expands epitope coverage across the demethylase, supporting detection of full-length KDM1A (~93 kDa) in denatured western blots as well as native complexes captured in IP and ChIP assays. Reactivity has been validated against human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling cross-species comparison of epigenetic regulation in primary tissues, cultured cell lines, and disease models including prostate, breast, and hematopoietic systems where KDM1A activity has been extensively characterized.

For best results, aliquot upon first thaw, store frozen at -20°C, and limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody titer.
