A rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets KDM1A, also known as LSD1, a flavin-dependent amine oxidase that removes methyl groups from mono- and dimethylated lysine 4 of histone H3 (H3K4me1/me2). This nuclear enzyme contributes to chromatin compaction and transcriptional repression of developmental and tumor-suppressor gene programs. The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, and chromatin immunoprecipitation workflows across Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

Supplied as a 100 µl aliquot at 1 mg/mL in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the reagent is ready for direct labeling or secondary-detection chemistries. Common research uses include profiling histone methylation dynamics in chromatin biology, studying androgen-receptor signaling in prostate cancer, characterizing estrogen-receptor regulation in breast cancer models, and mapping pluripotency factor networks in embryonic stem cells. Store at -20°C in single-use aliquots to preserve activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light when not in use.
