Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit-derived primary antibody targets the KCNN4 potassium channel (also known as KCa3.1, SK4, IK1, IKCA1, or hSK4), an intermediate conductance calcium-activated potassium channel protein. The polyclonal reagent is supplied at 50 µl per vial at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in unconjugated form, allowing flexibility for downstream labeling workflows. The host species is rabbit and the clonality is polyclonal with an IgG isotype, and the antibody was generated against a recombinant human KCNN4 immunogen and further purified by affinity chromatography against that same antigen. According to the supplier, the antibody specifically detects the endogenous level of total KCNN4 protein and is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications. It has been confirmed to react with human, mouse, and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies in cell biology, ion-channel research, and neuroscience. The product is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide as preservative, and 50% glycerol for cryoprotection. For routine handling, the vial is shipped at 4°C; upon receipt, it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. This reagent is intended for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
