Raised in rabbits against KCNN3 (potassium calcium-activated channel subfamily N member 3, also called SK3 and KCa2.3), this unconjugated polyclonal IgG from Antibodies.com is supplied at 50 µL per vial and validated for Western blot across human, mouse, and rat samples.

KCNN3 encodes a small-conductance calcium-activated potassium channel that drives the after-hyperpolarization phase of action potentials in central neurons and contributes to vascular smooth-muscle tone. Investigators use this reagent to map channel expression in brain regions such as the hippocampus and midbrain, dissect dopaminergic and GABAergic pathways, and probe vascular remodelling in hypertension and preeclampsia models. The polyclonal format recognises multiple epitopes per band, which is useful when comparing endogenous levels across knock-out, knock-down, or pharmacologically treated cohorts.

Aliquot on arrival and keep frozen in single-use portions to limit freeze-thaw cycles. For Western blot, run standard SDS-PAGE separations, transfer to a suitable membrane, block, and incubate with the antibody before enzymatic or fluorescent readout of the KCNN3 band.
