The Antibodies.com Anti-KCNK9 polyclonal reagent is a rabbit-derived, unconjugated primary antibody directed against the TASK-3 (TWIK-related acid-sensitive K+ channel 3) two-pore domain potassium channel encoded by KCNK9 on chromosome 8q24.3. Supplied as 100 µL of antiserum, it supports western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human samples, enabling detection of endogenous channel protein in cell lysates and in formalin-fixed tissue sections. TASK-3 biology has drawn oncologic research interest because KCNK9 amplification and overexpression have been reported in subsets of breast carcinoma and melanoma, and this reagent can be used to profile channel expression patterns in tumour specimens. For handling, prepare small aliquots before freezing to limit freeze-thaw cycles, store working stocks refrigerated, and hold long-term reserves frozen at -20 °C in a frost-free unit. The product ships in a single-use vial and is intended for research use only.
