Polyclonal antibodies from Antibodies.com raised in rabbit target KCNK3 (also called TASK-1), a two-pore domain potassium channel expressed in cardiomyocytes, pulmonary arterial smooth muscle, and neurons. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl of stock and is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human and mouse specimens. KCNK3 contributes to setting the resting membrane potential and pH-sensitive K+ conductance, and loss-of-function variants have been linked to heritable pulmonary arterial hypertension, making reliable detection of the channel protein useful for vascular and cardiac research programs. The product is supplied in a single vial for research use only, and the unconjugated format allows the user to pair it with their preferred secondary reagent for chromogenic or chemiluminescent readout. Researchers working on TASK channel biology, hypoxic vasoconstriction, or atrial repolarization studies will find this polyclonal reagent a practical tool for mapping channel expression across tissue sections and lysates.
