Anti-KCNJ4 Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against KCNJ4, an inward rectifier potassium channel known by several synonyms including KIR2.3, hippocampal inward rectifier, HIR, HIRK2, HRK1, IRK-3, IRK3, and potassium channel inwardly rectifying subfamily J member 4. The unconjugated reagent is validated for Western blotting and reacts with human and mouse samples.

The antibody was generated using a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human KCNJ4 and detects endogenous levels of total KCNJ4 protein. It is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, supplemented with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. Purification was performed from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen.

For storage, the product is shipped at 4°C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
