Polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit against the KCNJ4 protein, an inward-rectifier potassium channel (Kir2.3) encoded by the KCNJ4 gene on chromosome 22. KCNJ4 contributes to potassium ion flux across cell membranes and plays a role in establishing the resting membrane potential in excitable tissues including brain and cardiac myocytes.
From Antibodies.com, this unconjugated IgG reagent is validated for Western blot detection in mouse and rat sample lysates. The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of liquid stock in a single-use vial, suitable for probing endogenous KCNJ4 levels across neural and cardiovascular research workflows.
Investigators studying ion channel biology, cardiac electrophysiology, and neuronal potassium signaling can use this reagent to examine KCNJ4 expression patterns. The polyclonal antibody recognizes multiple epitopes on the target protein, providing flexibility across different immunoblotting conditions and reducing signal loss if one epitope is masked by sample preparation.
