KCNJ10 contributes to spatial potassium buffering in the brain and supports endolymph homeostasis in the inner ear, and loss-of-function variants in this gene underlie EAST/SeSAME syndrome, a clinical picture that combines epilepsy, ataxia, sensorineural deafness, and renal tubulopathy. Antibodies.com offers this reagent as an unconjugated polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit, with the IgG isotype suited to western blot workflows on PVDF or nitrocellulose membranes after transfer of separated proteins. Each vial contains 200 µl of the antiserum at working concentration, and the antibody has been validated for detection of the Kir4.1 channel in lysates prepared from human, mouse, and rat tissues such as cortex, cerebellum, spinal cord, and kidney, where it is most abundant in astrocytes, oligodendrocytes, and renal tubular epithelium.
