Anti-KCNIP2 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting KCNIP2 (also known as KChIP2) is offered by Antibodies.com for Western blot (WB) applications. The unconjugated reagent, raised in Rabbit and of the IgG isotype, has been validated on Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1–90 of human KCNIP2 (NP_775284.1). The target protein has a molecular weight of 24 kDa. The antibody is affinity-purified and supplied in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% Glycerol and 0.02% Sodium Azide. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon delivery for storage at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. The recommended dilution range for WB is 1:500–1:2,000.

KChIP2 is a Kv channel-interacting protein expressed in heart, brain, and lung. KChIPs bind to the cytoplasmic amino termini of Kv4-subunits and form integral components of native Kv4 channel complexes.
