This unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbits against KCNG4, the voltage-gated potassium channel subunit that assembles into the Kv6.3 pore-forming complex. KCNG4 belongs to the modulatory Kv6 subfamily, which is electrically silent on its own and forms heterotetrameric channels with Kv2-family alpha subunits, influencing their gating kinetics, surface trafficking, and current properties in neurons.

Each vial contains 100 µl of liquid antibody suitable for routine immunodetection. The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human and mouse samples, supporting studies of neuronal channel expression as well as oncology work that has linked KCNG4 expression to melanoma metastasis and hepatocellular carcinoma tumor phenotypes. The polyclonal format tolerates modest epitope variability across species and sample preparations.

For reliable performance, aliquot the antibody upon first use to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles and keep it stored frozen until needed. The unconjugated format leaves secondary reagent choice to the user, allowing HRP-based chromogenic detection, biotin-streptavidin amplification, or fluorescence workflows in research-grade assays.
