Anti-KCNE1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the human KCNE1 potassium channel regulatory subunit, this polyclonal antibody targets the small transmembrane protein that co-assembles with KCNQ1 to generate the slow delayed rectifier current (IKs) in cardiac myocytes. KCNE1, also referred to as MinK or IsK, modulates channel gating kinetics, pharmacology, and surface expression of the KCNQ1-KCNE1 complex, and loss-of-function variants in KCNE1 are linked to long QT syndrome type 5 and to Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome.
