Anti-KAT5 Antibody

Polyclonal antibody reagent from Antibodies.com raised in rabbit against KAT5, the catalytic subunit of the NuA4 histone acetyltransferase complex (also known as TIP60). Supplied as an unconjugated 100 µL liquid aliquot, the antibody supports detection of endogenous KAT5 protein in human, mouse, and rat samples through Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows.

KAT5 acetylates histone H2A, H3, and H4 tails and non-histone substrates including ATM kinase and p53, linking chromatin remodeling to the DNA damage response, transcription regulation, and cell cycle checkpoint control. Because the reagent is polyclonal, multiple epitopes on the KAT5 protein are recognized, which can be helpful when probing post-translationally modified or alternatively expressed forms of the enzyme in chromatin biology, DNA repair, and oncology research.
