Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Primary Antibodies reagent is a polyclonal antiserum produced in rabbit and raised against junction plakoglobin, also known as JUP, gamma-catenin, CTNNG, desmoplakin III, or desmoplakin-3 (DP3). It is generated from a recombinant human JUP immunogen and purified by immunogen-affinity chromatography so that it recognises the endogenous total JUP protein in human, mouse, and rat samples. The unconjugated preparation is provided at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline without magnesium or calcium ions (pH 7.4), supplemented with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide as preservative, and 50% glycerol as cryoprotectant. Validated applications include Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry combined with immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), allowing the antibody to be deployed across cell lysate, fixed-cell, and tissue-section workflows that probe desmosomal and adherens-junction architecture. The reagent is shipped refrigerated at 4 °C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve binding activity. For detection, compatible goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L secondaries are available separately, and the product is supplied for research use only.
