This polyclonal IgG antibody specifically recognizes JUND phosphorylated at serine 255, a post-translational modification site located within the C-terminal region of the JUND transcription factor. JUND is a core member of the activator protein-1 (AP-1) complex, partnering with Fos family proteins and other Jun family members to regulate genes involved in cell cycle progression, differentiation, apoptosis, and cellular stress responses. Detection of phospho-S255 JUND is used in cell signaling studies to monitor JunD-dependent transcriptional activity downstream of upstream kinases such as JNK and casein kinase pathways, helping researchers distinguish activated from basal JUND pools.

Provided by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal in a 100 µl vial, this reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows. It reacts with JUND from Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, supporting basic and translational research across these species. The polyclonal format broadens epitope coverage, which can be useful in tissues where target expression or phosphorylation is heterogeneous, and the unconjugated IgG format allows researchers to pair the primary with their own choice of HRP, biotin, or fluorophore-conjugated secondary. Isotype IgG. Clonality polyclonal. Host Rabbit. Conjugate unconjugated.

For best results, aliquot upon first use to limit freeze-thaw cycles, store refrigerated, and protect from light to preserve phospho-epitope recognition. Avoid prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures. Intended for research use only and not for diagnostic applications.
