Phosphorylation of the AP-1 transcription factor subunit JUNB at serine 79 modulates its transcriptional activity, DNA-binding affinity, and protein-protein interactions within the AP-1 complex. This rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com specifically detects JUNB when phosphorylated at the S79 site, making it useful for studying JNK/MAPK-driven signalling, mitogenic response, and cellular differentiation pathways in research settings.
Validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF), the antibody is supplied unconjugated at 50 µl per vial. Reactivity has been demonstrated against human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative work in mouse and rat model systems as well as human tissue specimens. The product is provided in a single-use vial and should be stored refrigerated to preserve phospho-specific binding activity; it is intended for research use only.
