JUNB is a basic leucine zipper transcription factor and core component of the AP-1 (activator protein-1) complex that drives expression of genes involved in cell proliferation, differentiation, and immune signaling. Antibodies.com provides this rabbit polyclonal reagent at 100 µl, unconjugated for flexible pairing with secondary detection chemistries, and validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows. Reactivity spans human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting translational research across species. In Western blot the antibody is used to monitor JUNB protein levels downstream of growth factor, cytokine, or stress stimulation, and to compare expression across treatment groups or genetic backgrounds. In immunofluorescence it allows visualization of nuclear JUNB distribution and colocalization with partner factors such as c-JUN, c-FOS, and other AP-1 family members, helping dissect transcription factor stoichiometry and activation kinetics in single cells.

The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes on the JUNB target, which can improve signal consistency across experimental conditions and tolerate minor sample variation better than narrow-epitope reagents. Common research applications include studies of T-cell activation and immune cell function, tumor cell proliferation and lymphoma models, angiogenesis and vascular biology, and developmental or stem-cell differentiation programs where JUNB and AP-1 dynamics are known to play regulatory roles. The supplied volume supports multiple experiments and is suited to small-to-mid-throughput screens as well as individual validation studies; aliquoting upon first use is recommended to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Researchers comparing JUNB expression in patient-derived samples, knockout versus wild-type controls, or treated versus untreated cohorts will find the reagent useful for both qualitative imaging and semi-quantitative protein expression analysis.
