Anti-JNK1/2/3 (Phospho-T183) Antibody

A phospho-specific rabbit monoclonal raised against the activation loop epitope around threonine 183 of JNK1, with cross-reactivity to the equivalent phospho-site on JNK2 and JNK3. JNK isoforms are stress-activated serine/threonine kinases of the MAPK family, and phosphorylation at T183, paired with Y185, marks the catalytically active state triggered by upstream MKK4/MKK7 signaling in response to cytokines, UV exposure, and osmotic stress.

The reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated recombinant antibody in 1xTBS at pH 7.4 with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative. Validated applications cover Western blot, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry on human, mouse, and rat samples. In Western blot the antibody detects the activated kinase doublet around 46 to 54 kDa corresponding to JNK1 and JNK2, with JNK3 expression mainly restricted to neuronal and testis tissue.

For working dilution, titrate in standard blocking buffer. Store at -20 degrees C in the supplied glycerol-stabilized formulation and protect from light; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve phospho-epitope recognition. Centrifuge briefly before use to recover the full volume from the vial.
