Anti-JNK1 / 2 / 3 Antibody

Polyclonal primary antibody raised in rabbit against the c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) stress-activated protein kinases JNK1, JNK2, and JNK3. Supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent in 100 µl vial format for research use only, the antibody is validated for western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and ELISA workflows, and it cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples.

JNK1 and JNK2 are ubiquitously expressed serine/threonine kinases of the MAPK family that phosphorylate c-Jun and other transcription factors in response to cytokines, UV irradiation, and oxidative stress, while JNK3 expression is largely restricted to neuronal tissue, cardiac muscle, and testis. A polyclonal reagent raised against a conserved region across JNK1, JNK2, and JNK3 is useful when probing total cellular JNK abundance or activation state (phospho-JNK) across multiple tissues and species, particularly in studies of apoptosis, inflammatory signalling, and neuronal stress responses.
