JDP2 (Jun dimerization protein 2, also called JUNDM2) is a basic leucine zipper transcription factor of the AP-1 family that functions as a chromatin-associated transcriptional repressor. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against JDP2 and is validated for Western blot and ELISA workflows in human, mouse, and rat samples.

The antibody supports studies of AP-1 signaling, chromatin remodeling, osteoclast and chondrocyte differentiation, UV- and stress-induced apoptosis, and tumor suppression pathways. It can be used to detect endogenous JDP2 in whole-cell or nuclear lysates by immunoblotting, or to quantify JDP2 levels by ELISA. The unconjugated format leaves the detection chemistry open, so researchers can couple the primary reagent to HRP, biotin, or a fluorophore of their choice.

Because the reagent is polyclonal, it recognizes multiple epitopes on JDP2, which is useful when probing post-translationally modified forms or isoforms of the protein. The 100 µl pack provides enough volume for several Western blot and ELISA runs in a standard research laboratory.
