Clone A9911 is a Mouse monoclonal IgG raised against JARID1C (also known as KDM5C), a JmjC-domain histone demethylase that erases H3K4me2 and H3K4me3 chromatin marks. The target protein is encoded on the X chromosome at Xp11.22, and loss-of-function mutations in this gene are associated with X-linked intellectual disability and the rare Claes-Jensen syndrome, making the antibody relevant to chromatin biology and neurodevelopmental research.
