Anti-JAK2 (phospho Y221) Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent, this rabbit polyclonal IgG targets JAK2 phosphorylated at tyrosine 221 and is supplied in unconjugated, liquid form. It has been validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide centred on Y221 of human JAK2, and the antibody is affinity purified. It is provided in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, with a reported molecular weight of 125 kDa. Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for Western blot and 1:50–1:100 for immunohistochemistry.

The antibody is shipped at 4°C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
