Anti-JAK2 (Phospho-Tyr570) Antibody

This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent that targets JAK2 phosphorylated at tyrosine 570. It is validated for Western blotting applications and reacts with human samples, and is supplied unconjugated at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide sequence around the tyrosine 570 phosphorylation site (G-D-Y(p)-G-Q) derived from human JAK2. According to the manufacturer specification, the antibody detects endogenous levels of JAK2 only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 750. Antibodies were produced by immunising rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide–KLH conjugates and purified by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific phosphopeptide, with non-phospho-specific antibodies removed by chromatography using a non-phosphopeptide.

The formulation is phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. The recommended dilution for Western blotting is 1:500–1:1000.
