Anti-JAK2 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this primary antibody is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against Janus kinase 2 (JAK2), a non-receptor tyrosine kinase implicated in cytokine receptor signaling and hematopoiesis. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from human JAK2 around the non-phosphorylation site of tyrosine 1007, allowing the antibody to detect endogenous levels of total JAK2 protein without bias toward the activated, phosphorylated form. The reagent is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at a concentration of 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography. It is unconjugated and intended for use in ELISA, Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows, and has been validated to react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
