This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets integrin beta-3 phosphorylated at tyrosine 773, a post-translational modification linked to outside-in signaling downstream of integrin engagement in platelets and vascular cells. ITGB3 pairs with ITGA2B to form the fibrinogen receptor on platelets, or with ITGAV to generate the vitronectin receptor, and the phospho-Y773 epitope reports activation-state-dependent signaling that controls cytoskeletal reorganization, focal adhesion turnover, and cell spreading.

Raised in rabbit, the IgG preparation is unconjugated and validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human and mouse samples, applicable in studies of megakaryocyte and platelet biology, angiogenesis, tumor cell migration, and integrin pathway dissection. The 50 µl aliquot supports multiple probing experiments; for low-abundance phospho-epitopes, brief phosphatase inhibitor supplementation during lysis helps preserve the modification.

Storage follows standard primary-antibody conditions: aliquot and freeze at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light to maintain reagent integrity. Investigators in cardiovascular, cancer, and cell-adhesion fields use this reagent to track dynamic phosphorylation events following ligand binding or pharmacological stimulation of the integrin pathway.
