Anti-ITGB2 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is an affinity-purified antibody directed against integrin beta-2 (ITGB2), the beta subunit shared by the leukocyte CD11/CD18 integrins LFA-1, Mac-1, and p150,95. The unconjugated Primary Antibody is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse, and rat samples.

ITGB2, also referred to as CD18, anchors leukocyte adhesion and transendothelial migration, and altered expression is associated with leukocyte adhesion deficiency type I. Researchers use this reagent to probe neutrophil and lymphocyte populations in inflammatory, vascular, and immune-regulation studies, including chromogenic or fluorescent IHC characterization of infiltrating leukocytes in tissue sections and WB analysis of the beta-2 integrin complex.

Provided as a 100 µL liquid aliquot of polyclonal IgG in a single-use vial format, the antibody is intended for standard immunodetection protocols and gives a strong signal at the expected ~85 kDa band in Western blot.
