Targeting the integrin alpha E chain (also known as CD103), this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is used to characterize tissue-resident lymphocytes in mucosal and epithelial compartments. Researchers rely on it to study intraepithelial T cell populations in the gut, skin, and airway, and to investigate how these cells infiltrate epithelial tumors.

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified, the antibody is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.3. The 50 µl vial is delivered as a liquid ready to dilute into standard western blot buffers, and the reagent has been validated for reactivity with both human and rat samples.

Typical applications include detection of ITGAE in primary lymphocyte lysates and epithelial cell extracts. Because the conjugate is unconjugated, it is flexible for use with HRP, alkaline phosphatase, or fluorescent secondary reagents depending on the experimental design. Store refrigerated and aliquot upon receipt to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles; the sodium azide is included as a preservative. For research use only.
