Anti-ITGA5 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and validated for Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG from Antibodies.com recognizes the human Integrin Alpha 5 (ITGA5) subunit, a 135 kDa transmembrane protein that pairs with Integrin Beta 1 to form the classical alpha5beta1 fibronectin receptor (also designated CD49e). The antibody is supplied as 200 microlitres of polyclonal serum and is intended for research use in studies of cell adhesion, angiogenesis, tumor migration, and extracellular matrix biology.

ITGA5 is a key mediator of fibronectin binding and downstream signaling through focal adhesion kinase and integrin-linked kinase pathways, and altered expression has been reported in multiple cancer types and fibrotic tissues. The unconjugated format allows researchers to choose compatible HRP, biotin, or fluorescent secondary reagents for chromogenic or fluorescence detection on Western Blot membranes and fixed tissue sections.
