ITGA2B encodes integrin alpha-IIb (αIIb), the platelet-lineage subunit that pairs with integrin β3 to form the αIIbβ3 fibrinogen receptor essential for platelet aggregation. This rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against the human ITGA2B protein and validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows. It cross-reacts with mouse tissue, supporting studies that bridge human clinical samples with murine disease models of platelet function, megakaryocyte differentiation, and thrombopoiesis. The unconjugated format gives flexibility in secondary antibody choice for fluorescent IF imaging or chemiluminescent WB detection. Each vial provides 100 µL of antibody suitable for multiple staining or blotting experiments; store refrigerated at 4 °C for short-term use and aliquot before freezing for long-term storage to limit loss of activity across repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
