Anti-ITGA2 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets ITGA2 (Integrin alpha 2, also referred to as CD49b) and is supplied unconjugated. It is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence applications, and has been shown to react with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The reagent was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 1–100 of human Integrin alpha 2 (NP_002194.2). It is of the IgG isotype, provided as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and purified by affinity chromatography. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 150 kDa, and the antibody is described as KO validated.

Recommended dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for Western blot and 1:50–1:200 for both immunohistochemistry and ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4°C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
