Islet-2 (ISL2) is a LIM-homeodomain transcription factor essential for motor neuron specification and differentiation during vertebrate neural development. The Antibodies.com polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against the Islet-2 protein and detects endogenous ISL2 in human, mouse, and rat samples. Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum, the antibody is validated for western blot analysis of the expected band, immunofluorescence localization of motor neurons in developing spinal cord and dorsal root ganglia, and ELISA-based detection. The polyclonal backbone provides multi-epitope recognition, supporting consistent staining across neural differentiation time courses and in motor neuron disease research models.
