IRX2 (Iroquois Homeobox 2) is a homeodomain-containing transcription factor with documented roles in embryonic patterning, neural tube formation, and cardiac morphogenesis. The Antibodies.com rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against this target enables detection of endogenous IRX2 protein across several standard research workflows.

Validated applications include Western Blot for protein-level analysis in cell lysates, Immunohistochemistry for tissue-section localization, and Immunofluorescence for subcellular imaging. Because the antibody is unconjugated, users can pair it with secondary reagents of their choice — HRP, biotin, or fluorophores — depending on assay design. Polyclonal recognition of multiple epitopes typically yields stronger signal in detection workflows than monoclonal alternatives restricted to a single epitope.

Each vial is supplied as 100 µL of antibody, sufficient for multiple experiments. For best results, store at -20 °C in working aliquots and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity. Host species is rabbit, clonality is polyclonal, and reactivity is reported for human samples. Intended for research use only.
