Anti-IRS1 (phospho S636) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal primary antibody specifically targets IRS1 phosphorylated at Ser636 and is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. The immunogen is a phospho-specific peptide corresponding to residues surrounding S636 of human IRS1, and the reagent has been affinity purified. It is unconjugated, of the IgG isotype, reacts with human and mouse samples, and is associated with a target molecular weight of 170 kDa.

Validated for Western blot (WB) use, the recommended working dilution range is 1:1,000–1:3,000. Concentration is reported as lot specific, and one scientific validation image is provided by the manufacturer. Representative WB data, as set out in an independent specification sheet, used extracts from 3T3 cells with 25µg of lysate per lane, a 3% BSA blocking buffer, and a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L Antibody (HRP) secondary at 1:10,000 dilution.

For storage, the product is shipped at 4°C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. The antibody is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
