Anti-IRS-1 (phospho-S612) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against IRS-1 and recognises the protein only when phosphorylated at Serine 612. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human IRS-1 around the Serine 612 phosphorylation site. Supplied unconjugated, the reagent is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and is validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC).

The antibody is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. It has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Reported molecular weights for the target are approximately 132 kDa and 180 kDa.
