Anti-IRS-1 (phospho-S312) Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises IRS-1 only when phosphorylated at Serine 312. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human IRS-1 around the Ser312 phosphorylation site, and the reagent has been confirmed to detect endogenous levels of IRS-1 exclusively in this phosphorylated state.

The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. It is validated for Western blotting (WB) and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. Purity exceeds 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE following affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, and the target is observed at approximately 132 and 180 kDa.
