Anti-IRS-1 (phospho-S1101) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com raised against IRS-1 phosphorylated at Serine 1101. Validated for Western Blot (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, the unconjugated reagent reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human IRS-1 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 1101, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of IRS-1 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser1101. Supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
