Anti-IRS-1 (Ab-636) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 634–638 (P-M-S-P-K) of human IRS-1 (Insulin Receptor Substrate 1) and recognises the endogenous level of total IRS-1 protein. The antibody is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in 50 µL of phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. It is unconjugated and validated for use in Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with cross-reactivity confirmed in Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The reagent is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
