Anti-IRF5 Antibody

This polyclonal antibody targets interferon regulatory factor 5 (IRF5), a transcription factor central to innate immunity, M1 macrophage polarization, and TLR-mediated inflammatory signaling. Produced in rabbit hosts, the unconjugated reagent is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot at approximately 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.2) containing 15 mM sodium azide as a preservative. Validated for Western blot detection of endogenous IRF5 in human, mouse, and rat sample lysates, the antibody supports research into autoimmune pathogenesis, including studies of systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis where dysregulated IRF5 expression has been implicated. Typical uses include characterization of cytokine regulation, type I interferon response pathways, and downstream signaling events following Toll-like receptor activation in both in vitro cell culture models and in vivo tissue samples. The polyclonal format provides broader epitope coverage useful when probing conserved regions of the IRF5 protein.
