IRF3 (Interferon Regulatory Factor 3) is a ~56 kDa transcription factor central to the innate antiviral response, where it is phosphorylated by TBK1 and IKKε, dimerizes, and translocates to the nucleus to drive type I interferon genes such as IFNB1. The Antibodies.com rabbit polyclonal IRF3 antibody is supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline with 0.05% sodium azide (approx. pH 7.2), unconjugated, and validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human samples. Researchers use this reagent to monitor IRF3 activation status, including phosphorylation at Ser396 and Ser386, in cGAS-STING and RIG-I/MDA5 signaling studies, as well as in viral infection models. The polyclonal format recognizes multiple IRF3 epitopes and tolerates minor denaturation during SDS-PAGE, while the unconjugated format allows pairing with HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies. The product is provided in a single vial; aliquot upon first use and refrigerate to preserve activity across repeated experiments.
