Produced in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl vial of unconjugated IgG antiserum, this polyclonal primary antibody recognizes the human IQGAP3 protein, a cytoskeletal scaffold of the IQGAP family involved in cell migration, adhesion, and proliferation.

IQGAP3 has emerged as a candidate biomarker in several malignancies, with elevated expression reported in gastric, breast, hepatocellular, and lung cancers, where it correlates with tumor progression and unfavorable prognosis. Researchers use this reagent to investigate Rho-family GTPase signaling, actin cytoskeleton remodeling, cell cycle regulation, and processes such as epithelial-mesenchymal transition and mitotic spindle orientation in cell-based and tissue-based studies.

The antibody is validated for western blot workflows that resolve endogenous IQGAP3 from cell lysates and tissue extracts. For best results, freeze the vial in small aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding activity over extended use. Western blot applications typically pair the unconjugated primary reagent with a horseradish peroxidase- or fluorescent-labeled secondary antibody for downstream chemiluminescent or fluorescent detection.
