Anti-IQGAP1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against IQGAP1, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline with 0.05% sodium azide and is validated for Western blot detection of the IQGAP1 scaffold protein across human, mouse, and rat samples. IQGAP1 (IQ motif containing GTPase activating protein 1) is a large approximately 189 kDa cytoskeletal scaffold that integrates Rho GTPase signalling, actin organisation, and cell-cell adhesion through interactions with partners such as beta-catenin, E-cadherin, calmodulin, and Cdc42. Investigators studying epithelial polarity, cell migration, cytokinesis, and tumour cell invasion routinely use this reagent to probe IQGAP1 expression and its redistribution by Western blot. The 100 µl aliquot yields ample reagent for multiple membrane probing experiments, and the standard PBS formulation is intended for refrigerated storage between uses.
