Anti-IP3R-I (Phospho-Ser1764) Antibody

This Rabbit polyclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, recognises the inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor type I (IP3R-I) only when phosphorylated at serine 1764. The unconjugated reagent has been validated for use in Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and ELISA, and it reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthesised peptide derived from human IP3R-I around the phosphorylation site of S1764, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of IP3R-I protein only when phosphorylated at that residue. It is supplied at a concentration of 1 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline containing 0.02% sodium azide, 0.5% BSA, and 50% glycerol, and it has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen. The product is shipped at 4 °C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
