Interstitial collagenase, also known as matrix metalloproteinase 1 (MMP-1), is a zinc-dependent endopeptidase that initiates the cleavage of fibrillar collagens during extracellular matrix remodeling. This Antibodies.com rabbit polyclonal reagent binds the native enzyme and has been validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications on human tissue and cell-derived samples. Supplied unconjugated at 100 µg per vial, the antibody supports expression profiling studies of collagen turnover, wound healing biology, and connective tissue pathology. The reagent should be stored refrigerated in single-use aliquots to preserve activity across freeze-thaw cycles.
